The Telangana Assembly became confrontational on September 16 when Chief Minister Revanth Reddy accused former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and his family, including K. T. Rama Rao and Harish Rao, of accumulating about 439 acres of land in and around Hyderabad. Reddy specifically questioned the expansion of the Erravelli farmhouse and ordered a 30-day field survey and inquiry into ownership history, conversion permissions, and possible assignment-land violations. The survey report is scheduled to be tabled in the next session.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi members reacted angrily with slogans and by rushing toward the well of the House, leading to the suspension of several legislators for disorderly conduct after marshals intervened. While BRS leaders outside the chamber dismissed the allegations as a political diversion targeting KCR’s residence, Congress ministers countered by stating that revenue records speak for themselves and dared the opposition to face a land-by-land debate in Erravelli.
