Karnataka marked Chief Minister D K Shivakumar’s first 100 days in office by launching several public initiatives covering governance, agriculture, and urban transport. These included the Seva One digital platform for state services and grievances, the Raitha Chaitanya pilot scheme for farmers in five districts, and the BMTC 2.0 app for commuters in the state capital.
The government also announced a scheme to distribute housing sites to about five lakh eligible families to help low-income households access land and shelter. Officials, ministers, and beneficiaries attended the public functions, where students received identification materials linked to state education and transport schemes.
Opposition leaders have not yet substantially responded, though scrutiny is expected as the programs move to on-the-ground rollout. Additional district-level events are planned in the coming weeks to extend the schemes beyond their initial locations.
