The Left-affiliated Adivasi Adhikar Rashtriya Manch adopted a resolution at its national convention in New Delhi demanding constitutional protections for Scheduled Tribe rights. Delegates urged the central government to insulate ST classification processes from political manipulation and arbitrary modifications, while also calling for higher reservation quotas to reflect demographic realities and the extension of affirmative action to private sector employment.

The resolution further demanded the inclusion of major Adivasi languages into the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution. Speakers expressed grave concern over tribal land alienation, deforestation, and forced displacement from industrial projects, emphasizing the strict enforcement of statutory land rights and community autonomy over natural resources.

To press their demands before Parliament, the Manch resolved to launch nationwide public awareness campaigns and grassroots mobilizations. Political leaders across opposition parties endorsed the resolution and called on the government to address the grievances of indigenous groups.
