The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has launched a 100-day statewide outreach campaign focused on Backward Class rights, representation, and a demand for an immediate nationwide caste census. The movement also calls for removing the 50 percent constitutional cap on reservations to allow proportional affirmative action.

The campaign will feature grassroots rallies, town halls, and constituency-level mobilization across all districts. Senior leaders highlighted that the initiative builds on the vision of Rahul Gandhi and positions Telangana’s completed scientific caste survey as a national benchmark.

Ahead of the upcoming legislative session, TPCC also staged a protest in Hyderabad criticizing former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for missing Assembly proceedings for nearly 1,000 days while drawing a salary. State ministers joined public demonstrations at Gandhi Bhavan to support the social justice initiative.
